In various Swiss cantons*)
many aspects of building
regulations fall primarily under the control of private
monitoring bodies. Private technical experts are thus
responsible for enforcing regulations. These experts act on
behalf of the authority concerned to confirm that projects
meet relevant regulations. I am authorized to carry out
private monitoring in the field of ventilation and air conditioning systems.
